How to make a wedding QR code for photos

A QR code on the table is the simplest way to gather every guest's photos in one place. The code itself is easy. What matters is what happens after someone scans it. Here is how to set one up that guests actually use, and the difference between a quick free code and a real photo guest book.

The two ways to do it

• The DIY route. Make a shared album or folder, copy the link, paste it into a free QR generator, and print the code. It is free, but guests often meet a sign-in wall, uploading from a phone is fiddly, and nothing appears on the venue screen.
• The done-for-you route. A photo guest book gives you a ready QR that opens straight to an upload page, no login, shows the photos live on the screen, and lets you download the full set after. You skip the parts that make the DIY version fall flat.

If you set one up yourself, get these right
