Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Cherra Moments (“Cherra”, “we”, “us”), including the website at cherramoments.com and our photo guest-book service (the “Service”). By creating an account, paying for an event, or uploading photos, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Cherra is a photo guest book for events. A host creates an event and gets a QR code; guests scan it to add their photos, which appear in the event gallery and on the venue screen while the event is happening.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or host an event. By using the Service you confirm that you are.

Accounts

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at cherra.customerservice@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Preview, pricing, and payment

Every host gets one free guided preview so you can see how your event will look. To publish an event and unlock full uploads, you pay a one-time fee per event (shown in your local currency at checkout, for example SGD $79). Payments are handled by Stripe. Fees are stated before you pay and may be subject to taxes.

Refunds

Because the free preview lets you evaluate the Service before paying, fees are generally non-refundable once an event is published. If something goes wrong on our end, contact us at cherra.customerservice@gmail.com and we will make it right.

Your content

You and your guests keep ownership of the photos and captions you upload (“Content”). You grant Cherra a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, reproduce, and display your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to show photos in your gallery and on the venue screen. This license ends when the Content is deleted, except for backups kept for a reasonable period.

Guest uploads and consent

As a host, you are responsible for your event and its guests. You confirm that you have the right to invite guests to upload photos and that guests have any consents needed from the people who appear in their photos. As a guest, you confirm you have the right to share the photos you upload.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to upload or share Content that:

• is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or violates someone’s privacy;
• is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or violent;
• contains malware, or attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

We may remove Content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Intellectual property

The Service itself — the software, design, and Cherra branding — belongs to Cherra. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, and Google. Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Content will always be preserved. Please keep your own copies of important photos.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cherra will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Cherra against claims arising from your Content, your event, or your breach of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, give notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes will be subject to the courts of Singapore.
